Based in Victoria's scenic Macedon Ranges, Black Horse is an Australian owned and operated business. After 30 years working in the fashion industry and becoming a horse rider later in life, Black Horse’s founder Gillian discovered there was a lack of mid-range horse wear that offered quality and value for money.
Combining her passion and knowledge for horse riding with her 20 years retail expertise in the fashion industry, she decided to establish a new brand to the Australian market that would not only offer affordable and durable garments, but also be fashionable and flattering.
Inspired by her own beautiful Black Morgan horses it did not take long until the brand’s name was born: Black Horse Clothing was proud to announce its ever first range in Autumn/Winter 2012. Since then we have become known for our comfort, range of fit and durability.

Our mission is to provide a quality and affordable option that fits 'real people'. You can expect comfy, durable fabrics combined with fashionable colours and designs that are designed to suit an entire range of people.
